I have turned off the queercast box because it was causing background issues on this site.(Some people would get a blank white page when they logged on)

I cannot repair this issue because I did not create the initial queercast box so do not know where the problem lies; but in short, the drupal script that updates all the plug-ins (of which the queercast box is one) stalls and goes into a loop because of the number of feeds currently in the database. This would cause the CPU time to go up and ram usage would spike and slow down the apache server.

World Community Grid is a community created by IBM to use idle CPU time to figure out
how different drugs interact with the HIV virus, in the hopes to find a cure or a better way to treat the disease. Basically its a program the user downloads, and runs on their PC. Its like the SETI@home project but it looks for a cure for HIV instead of aliens.

As some may know Purecastmedia.com is having "Issues" and this was causing a problem with NellyGator and Faggregator. To solve this issue I had to run a script that opted out any feed that was hosted on PurecastMedia.

When PurecastMedia comes back up, and if you use that host, please check your profile to reactivate your feed with Qpodder, NellyGator and Faggregator.

As most already know; Madge, Fausto and Fausto's mother, Patricia Fernos, have gone to Camp Casey to protest the unjust and unnecessary war started by the Bush administration. The protest was initially started by Cindy Sheehan whose son was killed in Iraq. She is now however joined by thousands of peace protesters, that like her want to see an end to war in Iraq and for the Bush administration to step up and admit to the mistakes it has made.
