Queer Podcast Community

Hello,

Can you use Ableton Live to render to MP3? I think I read somewhere it renders to AIFF and Wav. Is there a plugin or a way to export files to MP3? Any reviewson how this software works for podcasting?

Nate

Accident Hash uses CastBlaster which seems really cool except for the fact that it is a "one shot" take. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks from the website tutorial that you cannot edit your take without restarting the whole thing.

It does not render directly to mp3. I use itunes to compress the aiff to mp3 and add the id3 tags. It's a bit of a hassle but worth it to be able to use Live.

Thanks Madge! That seems a little bit of a hassle but not too much of a trouble since Live is such an awesome piece of software. I am playing on the demo version and love it - but no need to be spending $500 bucks for it right now. Was more curious than anything.

I hope they do come up with MP3 support - seems like it would be a pretty standard thing. I also heard you talk about Castblaster - gonna check that out too! Always looking for improvment. Thanks again!
