Hey gurrls!

What is the benifit of using a Feed Burner Feed instead of my regular feed (gayborhoodradio.libsyn.com/rss?

Also, it appears that feedburner would not take my feed today, even though I typed it in yesterday just playing around and it gave me an example of what my feed would look like through feedburner. Today it says Invalid Feed! UGH!!!

The libsyn stats are great.

The circulation stats are good to have, and the other good reason to use feedburner is that it works like a lifetime e-mail address. If you change hosting sites and the URL of your RSS feed changes down the road, you can just point feedburner to the new feed and your listeners won't notice a difference.

Also, if your site blog goes down for some reason, feedburner will continue to deliver the last known good feed. That means as long as the media files are still there, listeners won't get errors if they poll your feed while the blog is down.

The catch here, like any "lifetime" service, is that it is subject to the life of the company providing the service. If feedburner goes under, that's a big problem for a lot of us.

The only reason I went with feed burner was the listener stats. I'm not even sure how accurate they are.
