From the home page you can access all of qPodder’s features. You can edit your account, add/edit your public posts onto the forum, view present and past casts and posts and perform most tasks you will want to accomplish through using the site.

The flow of the posts in this default view is done in newspaper headline and teaser text format. This view shows content marked as a blog entry, book page, forum topic, page, poll and story. The scrolling list displays the title, author, date stamp and the lead text from the body of their message. The system tracks new comments on the posts and displays any content you have not read as new. You can access more information about the poster by clicking on the blog link listed with the member’s name.

Content on the home page must be manually created. It does not pull from podcast or RSS feeds like Nellygator, Faggregator or similar areas on the site. Use the blog entry option on the left navigation bar to add any information about your recent podcast activity that you would like to see on the home page.

Navigation on the site is tracked through the "crumb trail" under the website banner. It lets you know where you are at on the site and allows you to click under the headings and subheadings listed in the crumb trail to return to a higher level in your website visit history.

For the more traditional outline or bulletin board view, you can select Recent Posts from the left navigation bar.
