As most already know; Madge, Fausto and Fausto's mother, Patricia Fernos, have gone to Camp Casey to protest the unjust and unnecessary war started by the Bush administration. The protest was initially started by Cindy Sheehan whose son was killed in Iraq. She is now however joined by thousands of peace protesters, that like her want to see an end to war in Iraq and for the Bush administration to step up and admit to the mistakes it has made. Click here to listen to some of the speeches made by the gold star parents, and other people at the camp.

Madge has posted a new video of a gold star dad sharing his experience and thoughts with the peace rally in TX. There is also a podcast version of the other important speeches given at the rally.

Thanks, but we should really be thanking you, Madge, Fausto and Patricia. I don't know who else was there form qpodder, but it was a very great thing you guys did by going there and putting a face to the movement.

Quicktime Alternative

If you have Windows you can install the Quicktime Alternative for free: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm

Install the 1.60 beta to get QT7 functionality. Quicktime for Windows has always (for years) been somewhat buggy and this gives you an alternative that seems to work fine and is less intrusive.

The second video won't play on Quicktime, I get sound but no picture. It says that I need a compressor, but it doesn't say which one. Any ideas? I am on a PC BTW.
