We'll discuss the scuttling of the federal hate crimes bill in Congress, Mike Huckabee's desire to "isolate" people with AIDS and condemn gay people, Rudy Giuliani's branding gay people as sinners, and the losses of gay activist Bob Kohler (with audio from the LES Bio Project on his recollections of the Stonewall Rebellion), gay historian Allan Berube, and Mel Cheren, the Godfather of Disco and a pioneer in raising money to fight AIDS. A sad season.

We'll also review productions of the gay-themed "Speech and Debate," "Is He Dead?," "Cymbeline," and "The Seafarer.
