Queercasting means different things to many different people; such is the flexible and diverse nature of our community. For this reason it can only be described in the most general of terms and must be understood as an ever-evolving term.

A QueerCast is:

• any PodCast for and by the global GLBT community. Typically they will deal with issues relevant to this community or will simply provide a GLBT person's perspective on life, love, liberty and the likelihood of their next lay. _{-this author}
• a PodCast that is queercentric in nature. Being a QueerCast does not mean that you have to be queer, the content doesn't even have to be queer. Being queercentric is about being aware of the queer culture and conducting a PodCast that fosters diversity. Being a QueerCast is simply showing that you care enough about our community. _{-Urban Family Night}
